Permission-Less: The 30-Day Decade

Three trips arranged by direct request, and the five rules behind designing your own experiences.
For Permission-Less, The 30-Day Decade, Patrick arranged a week in a Nepali monastery through a cold WhatsApp message, access to the Tolai community in Papua New Guinea with the Prime Minister's approval, and an edit suite in Bali run by Gibrand, an editor hired on email and portfolio alone. He calls the method possibility architecture.
What if I told you that in 30 days, I’m about to compress what most people experience in a decade into one extraordinary month?
And what if I told you that every single piece of this adventure happened without asking anyone’s permission?
This is Permission-Less: The 30-Day Decade.
But I don’t want you just watching from the sidelines. I want to invite you to architect your own impossible experiences alongside me.
Let me paint you the picture…
The Adventure (AKA: How to Live Without Permission)
Living in a Nepali Monastery for a Week
With a Lama as our guide. All from a cold WhatsApp message.
I found a monastery online, sent a message explaining my documentary and my genuine desire to understand their practices. Not only did they say yes, the Lama himself offered to guide our experience.
No spiritual credentials. No formal introductions. Just authentic curiosity and direct action.
Deep in Papua New Guinea with the Tolai Community
With the Prime Minister’s express approval.
Most people would assume you need years of relationship-building, official channels, endless bureaucracy. Instead? I reached out directly to government offices, explained the documentary’s mission to honor their culture, and got the green light from the top.
The Tolai elders are excited to share their stories. All because I didn’t assume I needed permission.
Editing in Bali, Testing Theories for Unbecoming
With an editor I’ve never met, in an office I set up remotely.
I hired Gibrand based purely on email exchanges and portfolio work. Set up a proper editing suite in Bali without ever being there. We’re going to test five different hypotheses about documentary storytelling while creating something extraordinary together.
Pure experimentation. Pure trust. Pure possibility.
But Here’s the Real Magic…
Each of these experiences will be remarkable on their own.
They’ll be incredibly exciting, filled with flow, and deeply meaningful.
But I want to do more than just take you on this journey.
I want to invite you to explore possibility architecture with me.
What is Possibility Architecture?
It’s the art of designing experiences that make extraordinary outcomes inevitable instead of accidental.
It’s about:
Choosing people over projects (like inviting Kristina to Nepal because she needs it, not because it serves the film)
Acting on partial information (like setting up that Bali office without knowing exactly how it’ll work)
Designing for discovery, not comfort (like living in a monastery for a week)
Going directly to decision-makers (like reaching out to Prime Ministers and Lamas)
Architecting experiences, not consuming them (like creating win-win scenarios instead of just asking for favors)
Most people spend their lives consuming other people’s adventures.
I’m inviting you to become the architect of your own.
Join the Journey (It’s Free, But I Need Something More Valuable)
I’m not asking for your money.
I’m asking for something much more valuable, your heart and your action.
Because that’s what transforms dreams into reality.
When you sign up, you don’t just get to follow along. You get:
Direct access to my strategic decisions as they happen in real-time
The challenges, failures, and breakthroughs that don’t make it to social media
My complete thought process behind every permission-less move
Resources and action plans to unlock your own impossible
A personalized roadmap based on your specific “impossible” dream
This adventure has been designed so that if you take action, you get supported with more resources to take even more action.
All in service of achieving your own impossible without needing permission from anybody else.
Ready to Architect Your Own Impossible?
It takes 2 minutes to answer a few questions right here:

One of the questions is a doozy though, it’s about what your “impossible” dream actually is.
Take those 2 minutes.
Join me on this adventure.
Know that you’ll get a pretty darn remarkable plan back within minutes.
And so much more value coming.
The Real Question:
What would you do if you stopped waiting for permission?
What experiences would you architect?
What impossible would you make inevitable?
Your decade starts now.
Let’s build something extraordinary together.
Architect the life of your fucking dreams with me.
Talk soon,
Patrick
ps - The Tolai ceremony. The monastery bells. The Maldivian sunsets. The Bali breakthroughs. This is going to be unlike anything I’ve ever documented. But the real magic happens when you start architecting your own impossible alongside me.
